26th July - Neutering Program
Our next project is to do with the large number of cats needing to be
re-homed. We are alarmed at the amount being handed in, either by people moving house and leaving their cats behind or kittens being born as
flu carriers, who are no more than babies themselves when they
become pregnant.
We are just about to embark on a programme for people who canÕt (or wonÕt) afford to get their cats spayed or neutered. We will be visiting various areas of the island to carry this out.
We donÕt want another feral cat problem which can easily happen if kittens go into the wrong homes and are abandoned un-neutered. We will be having stands on this day around the island at entrances to various estates where you can sign up your cats to this service.
